Camper van, café, park or individual office? The convergence of work, leisure and mobility is accelerating and changing our spaces in lasting ways. The term “metamobility” refers to a transformation that defines the virtual and the physical worlds as a new intersection and represents them as a game of possibilities in the truest sense of the word. In a time when shopping, working, and the next conference are just a click away, our attitude toward space is also changing. Doctors’ surgeries, supermarkets and public administration will have to adapt, and in the process define and use new spaces. And now that the car park is becoming a logistics hub and the petrol station a mobility hub, the industrial concepts of work and wealth are finally starting to be replaced.
