Nicola Bramkamp has been at home on stages around the world for more than 20 years, most recently as artistic director of drama at Bonn Theatre. She is convinced that we change the world with stories, because what we cannot imagine cannot happen. That is why in 2018 she founded the SAVE THE WORLD initiative, which stages global future issues around the world. SAVE THE WORLD brings together artists and experts to communicate the UN’s sustainability goals to a wide audience. The programme ranges from festivals, performances and shows to exhibitions, conferences and lectures.
As an expert on transformation, sustainability and diversity, she is a regular keynote speaker and trainer. She is a passionate moderator of cultural events and high-level political panels (including ministers of state Claudia Roth, Lisa Paus & various other high-ranking female officials). In 2023, she was awarded the “Kulturgestalten” future prize by the Minister of State for Culture, Claudia Roth, for her commitment.
For Nicola, there is nothing more exciting than meeting inspiring people – because there is so much that we can learn from each other.
